MyAcer laptop Aspire F15 - F5-573G-556W has these problems: 1. Sometimes, the screen turns black suddenly, it even happens faster when I am gaming. When screen turns black, the fan is still running and spinning, however the playing background music stops. What I have done is to force shut down by holding the power button. Pressand hold the F2 key and turn on the unit. 3. You will be in setup utility page. 4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key. 5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option. 6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option. Trydoing bios default by following the below steps; Restart your computer. Wait for the computer's first startup screen to appear. Repeatedly tap Del or F2 to enter setup. Wait for your BIOS to load. Find the "Setup Defaults " option. Select the "Load Setup Defaults " option and press ↵ Enter . UpdateBIOS. Download this file. Copy this file to a flash drive and insert into the USB port. Simultaneously press the Fn key, Esc key and power button until the power light comes on. The light should then start to blink. Let the laptop run from 1-7 minutes and the problem should be fixed.
AspireE15 ES1-512 display screen blinks on and off. I have an Acer Apire E15 ES1-512 and when powered on the video display blinks on and off. The display lights up with whatever is suppossed to be on the screen momentarily and then goes to a completely black screen. It will sometmes stay on for a few seconds and then other times it cycles
Idoubt if flashing the bios will help. true bios corruption is rare and I think people confuse bios corruption with resetting the bios to default settings. Screen went black and turning on off does not get it to work. After searching tried a few of the suggested fixes for other models and no luck. Does not work with external monitor either.
1 resetting the BIOS by removing CMOS cel. 2- resetting the BIOS by push button switch on mother board. 3- FYI there is no RAM module it is all built in onboard so no chance for the RAM insertion issue. 4- I removed the Battery, battery is fine i

Theblack screen with the blue light flashing can be one of several different things. 1st - On the rear of the unit there is a pin holke for resetting the battery. Unplug the unit turn it over and use a straightened paper clip to depress it for 15 Seconds, or 20 seconds for good measure. 2nd - Check your memory stick.

Innormal boot there's no fan ramp up; it just stays on. Under Fn+ESC, it ramps the fan up, then cycles the screen OFF/ON black indefinitely. By re-naming the original fd file to powering on w/ Fn+ESC, it will cycle screen, wait for something, turn off. The laptop ON light never indicate anything besides a solid blue in either
Answers Try pressing and holding the F2 key before you push the power button. If no joy, then remove bottom cover, unplug the CMOS coin cell, and short out its mainboard terminals to try to reset the BIOS to a default state. Also check that coin cell voltage is at least 3.1 volts before putting it back. Try it again. 1 After pressing the power button, the backlit keyboard is on; 2. After a few seconds, it would turn off. Then it would turn on again; 3. I left it on for just a few minutes but it just shows a black screen with the backlit keyboard on; 4. It won't show the Acer logo.
Makesure that the options under ā€œSleepā€ are set to a desired value. 3. Click ā€œAdditional Power Settingsā€ under ā€œRelated Settings.ā€. You will be redirected to the control panel. 4. Select ā€œChange Plan settingsā€ under your chosen power plan. Then click ā€œChange advanced power settingsā€ from the resulting screen. 5.
