hl2 ep2 animation fix. This isn't 100% fix but it does alright. Guys the thing that the most animations are broken is because you have the hl2 ep2 and ep1 content itself in the "addons" folder. Delete it and install the content from the workshop but if you wanna leave the content in the "addons" then delete these files: scripts,models,materials.
Here is a workaround that solved it for me: - Jump into hole but stay put, so that Vort won't follow. - Open console (commonly by pressing the key above TAB (^ or ~ or ) - Write "sv_cheats 1" to enable cheats. - Write "sv_gravity 1900" to raise gravity. - Walk a certain distance to stimulate Vort to follow you. Just a bug i found in episode 2, in the chapter "This Vortal Coil" right after you have recovered the extract that will save Alyx.. There are 9 web caches in Half-life 2, Episode 2, Manchester United 0, Liverpool 3 . haha. That are spread across two chapters (White Forest and Vortal Coil). We're moving on to White Forest with Alyx. We need to get clear of the train tracks, infiltrate an office, and then survive a hunter attack before heading off to the Vortigaunt group in the mine.
